In 2016, I completed my dissertation on the development of algebraic structure sense in classroom instruction. Afterwards, I worked as a postdoc researcher in the research project <a href=\"http:\/\/mal-projekt.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Multimodal Algebra lernen (MAL)<\/a>, where we probed the potential of a multimodal algebra learnings system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My latest publication in English is part of a special issue of <em>Digital Experiences in Mathematics Education<\/em> edited by Sophie Soury-Lavergne and Ricardo Nemirovsky. Estela Vallejo Vargas, Angelika Bikner-Ahsbahs, David Reid, and I wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1007\/s40751-020-00070-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">about the design of a touch gesture for division in the MAL project<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Between 2011 and 2019, I was part of the mathematics education research group at the University of Bremen.
